There are 270 places available in Year 7 at Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy for September 2020. We welcome all students to our Academy and have a fair banding test to maintain our comprehensive intake.
For 20/21 admissions, all Year 6 primary students who name Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy in their list of preferences are required to sit a fair banding test. This is to ensure that children across the full ability range are admitted. It is not possible to pass or fail the test, but those not sitting the test at all, will only be prioritised after those children who have sat the test.
The applicants will be split into 5 equally sized bands based on their assessment results. Within each band our admission criteria will be applied as set out in our determined admission arrangements.
The first opportunity to sit the test will be held at Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy on Saturday 5 October 2019. Parents and Carers should register their child for the test by sending a supplementary form to be received by the Academy by 27 September 2019.
Fair Banding tests will also be held at the Academy on 16 and 19 November for applicants who do not sit the test on 5 October. Supplementary forms must be submitted to the Academy by 31 October.
Alternatively, for those wishing to submit a postal application, simply print the online form and return to the Academy by email to email@example.com
or post to: Admissions Officer, Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy, 145 Bexley Road, London SE9 2PT.
