For 2018/19 admissions, all Year 6 primary students who name Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy in their list of preferences are required to sit a general ability test.  This is to ensure that children across the full ability range are admitted.  It is not possible to pass or fail the test, but those not sitting the test at all, will only be prioritised after those children who have sat the test.

The applicants will be split into 5 equally sized bands based on their assessment results.  Within each band our admission criteria will be applied as set out in our determined admission arrangements.

Parents and Carers should register their child for the test by sending a supplementary form, to be received by the Academy by 31st October 2017.
