Best Ever GCSE and A Level Results


Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy is celebrating its best ever GCSE results with a phenomenal 70% of students achieving A*-C grades in both English and Mathematics improving on its performance in 2015 and continuing its trend of performance exceeding both local and national averages; an outstanding 85% of students achieved an A*-C grade in English and 73% in Maths.

Associate Principal, Faz Rahman, said:  “Our students were determined to succeed and these excellent results are a tribute to their commitment and hard work. We would also like to thank the teachers, support staff, parents who have taught, supported, nurtured and encouraged our students throughout their school lives.”

David Millar, Executive Principal, said:  “These excellent results are the platform for students to continue their educational careers in the Sixth Form and I am delighted that the vast majority have chosen to remain here at the Academy for their post 16 studies.  We are very excited about the next steps for these students and supporting them as they prepare for University and future success .”

In 2016 Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy maintained its track record of performance above national averages.

The Academy is delighted to report that 98% of students achieved A Level, or equivalent, passes with 70% achieving A*-C grades.  Arden students enjoyed a summer of celebration and excitedly started to make plans for university life, apprenticeships and careers.

“We are delighted with these fantastic outcomes at post 16 which are very well deserved and a culmination of two years hard work by both students and staff. We would like to congratulate all of our students on their achievements and for working so hard to meet or exceed their targets, gaining the grades required for their future plans; be it university, training or employment.”  Said Faz Rahman, Associate Principal.
