Dear Parents/Carers
It is hard to believe that the end of term is upon us; time has flown by! We will have an earlier finish next Friday, 17 December with students being dismissed at midday; We have informed the bus companies of this adjustment. Students will be able to purchase food from Cucina during their normal break times and students entitled to a Free School Meal will be able to collect their food entitlement during these times too.
As you may be aware, the latest government guidance relating to Covid-19 includes testing plans for schools and colleges for the return to schools in January. The government has stipulated that secondary school students should undertake one test on site at the start of term in their school asymptomatic test site (ATS) followed by one LFD self-test at home 3-4 days after their on site test. Students should then continue to test in line with government guidelines. I will send out separate communications regarding the plans for these next week.
I hope everyone has a restful and relaxing break; enjoy precious time with friends and family and I look forward to seeing our students next term. We cannot wait for students to enjoy more opportunities in 2022!
