Free Youth Provision with Royal Museums Greenwich

Two exciting opportunities for young people coming up at the National Maritime Museum this October. In response to COVID 19 we will be following current government guidance, ensuring that social distancing is in place. If the museum is required to shut, both opportunities will transfer to an online platform.

From the 3rd October we have our Saturday Art Club 2020-21 This is open to all 13-16 year olds and is a free weekly art and design club based at the National Maritime Museum. Members get to explore a variety of creative disciplines; take part in an exhibition; visit museums and galleries and achieve a Silver Arts Award. To register please follow the link to an online registration.

We also invite people to sign up to our October Half Term Young Volunteers Project which is open to all 15-18 year olds, living or studying in Greenwich. This project will work with artist, Jessica Ashman to capture and animate oral histories from members of the Caribbean Social Forum. This project will explore the legacy of post war Caribbean migration to the UK and aim to reflect, discuss and educate young people on this important moment in history.
