MY CHILD AT SCHOOL (MCAS) PORTAL
As part of our continued commitment to improving our communication with you, we have made the decision to expand our use of My Child At School (MCAS) to become the main form of electronic communication.
MCAS is a portal enabling you as parents and carers to view information about your child in real-time via a free mobile app (available on the GooglePlay Store or the Apple App Store) or web browser. You will be able to access your child’s attendance, classes, timetable as well as reports on your child’s academic performance. As well as your child’s data, the portal also provides general information about the academy, such as events in the school calendar, current initiatives and other important announcements.
The academy will be moving away from communicating by email and time sensitive, urgent messages will be sent via the app so it is crucial that all parents and carers download it and enable notifications to avoid missing key information relating to your child. We are really pleased to see that the majority of our parents and carers have already downloaded the MCAS app and are actively using it.
As a reminder, you will need to download the app onto a smart phone or use a web browser. Before you can use the application, ensure you select ‘redeem invitation code’ and use the username and invitation code you should have already received (if you require this information again please email info@scwa.org.uk). The application will prompt you to submit an email address and password and give you instant access to the application.

If you have trouble logging in, you are unable to access information about multiple children or you have any other queries then please do not hesitate to contact us by email on info@scwa.org.uk with your full name and your child(ren)’s names.
