New Year Arrangements – 22nd July 2022

NEW YEAR ARRANGEMENTS

Further to my letter at the start of this week, as we break for the summer holidays I would like to remind families of a few key points for the new academic year.

Term Dates

The new academic year commences with training days for staff; Year 7 and 12 students will return to school on Thursday 1 September with Year 8 9 10 and 13 students returning on Friday 2 September.

Uniform

Following the recent change in law with regard to school uniform and having listened to parent feedback, we communicated earlier this year the following changes to our uniform policy:

• White shirt with home school tie
• Dark grey long school trousers 
• Dark grey pleated knee-length school skirt
• Standard Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy school bag (optional)
• Standard Stationers’ Crown Woods Academy drawstring PE bag (optional)

All uniform is available from our supplier JK Clothing.

Results Days

• Year 13 A Level Results Day – 18 August 2022
• Year 11 GCSE Results Day – 25 August 2022
