It has been really lovely meeting many of our new Year 7 pupils today as they have been arriving for the first of their two onsite COVID tests. We are really excited to meet the whole cohort when they return to school tomorrow.

All students finish at 2pm on Wednesdays.
Pupils need to be at school by 8.25am as tutor me begins at 8.30am; tomorrow will begin with an assembly for all Year 7 in the Sports Hall. Students should arrive and enter the academy via the main gate. The gate is open from 7.45am; students who arrive from 7.45am will be guided to the Restaurant where they will wait until they are escorted to the Sports Hall. From next week the Restaurant will be serving breakfasts for students who wish to purchase this before school.
School leadership teams will be arranging for pupils to have their thumbprints uploaded onto the school system tomorrow and will be ready for use from Monday. For tomorrow we will be providing break and lunch for all Year 7 as a nice welcome treat for them all! On Friday pupils can purchase lunch (cash only) in the Restaurant or bring their own packed lunch and from Monday food can be purchased using our cashless system.
Pupils will need to be in full school uniform and should bring in their school bags with their pencil cases, a reading book and a water bottle (with water in!). A reminder that pupils are not allowed to have their mobile phones on show at any point during the school day; this includes breaks and lunches. Pupils will not need to bring their PE Kits tomorrow.
