Dear Year 13 Parents/Carers,
Whilst recent years have undoubtedly been the most challenging times we have seen in education, it has been humbling to see how well our students adapted to continuous change. I am very pleased that they were able to complete their courses in school and were all able to experience a rigorous set of examinations. We believe our students rose to the challenge with a positivity, fortitude and determination which was quite simply impressive and we are very proud of them all.
Results 2022
Year 13 students will be required to pick up their results on Thursday, 18 August 2022 between 8am-12pm in the Main Hall, Crown Building.
If your child is unable to attend Results Day, please send in a self-addressed stamped envelope to our main office for the attention of the Exams Team. We will be able to post these to you, or alternatively your child can nominate another to collect on their behalf by giving them a signed letter of authorisation.
UCAS
Students who have applied to UCAS and have secured their firm/insurance choices will receive an email at approximately 8.00am on Results Day informing them of the outcome of their application. In the unfortunate circumstance that a student does not achieve the grades to secure either their firm or insurance choice, the university may offer a different option or the student will need to go through clearing. For more information on Clearing and the new Clearing Plus system, please visit the UCAS Clearing and UCAS Clearing Plus. If your child requires further support and guidance with UCAS and/or clearing, the Arden Leadership Team will be available in Crown Building between 8.00am and 12pm on Results Day.
Careers Advice and Guidance
If your child has not applied to university and requires additional support and guidance regarding next steps, the Arden Leadership Team will be available to offer advice in the Crown Building between 8.00am and 12pm on Results Day.
Destination Data Gathering
Please note that we have a requirement to collate student information on Post 18 destinations. We will begin the process of collecting this information on Results Day. We automatically receive updates regarding applications to universities via UCAS. If your child has not applied to university via UCAS and has secured a placement, or has a conditional offer which will be confirmed in response to A Level or BTEC grades, please ensure your child knows the name of the provider, course/job role and level of course where applicable.
May I take this opportunity to wish all our students the very best.
Yours sincerely,
Mr F Rahman
Associate Principal
